Jody Ramsammy, CEO, On The Hiyu, LLC

Jody Ramsammy is the founder and CEO of ViViD Presents and the owner and CEO of On The Hiyu. Based in Seattle and originally from South Africa, he brings more than two decades of experience in technology, business development and partnerships to live entertainment and venue operations.

Before building his entertainment businesses, Jody held roles at Microsoft, Facebook and Google. Today, he applies that experience to developing events, building partnerships and bringing people together through music.

Since founding ViViD Presents in 2019, Jody and his team have produced events in some of Seattle’s most distinctive settings, including the Space Needle, the Museum of Flight, Lake Union Park and On The Hiyu. His work also includes EXIT206 at The Shop, developed in partnership with Rose Entertainment, transforming an exotic-car showroom into a live music experience.

As owner and CEO of On The Hiyu, Jody leads a repurposed Washington State ferry that hosts concerts, weddings, corporate gatherings and private celebrations on Seattle’s waterways.

Across his projects, his focus is consistent: thoughtful music programming, unexpected spaces and a welcoming environment where people can connect. Working alongside artists, local creatives and production teams, Jody continues to build experiences that contribute to Seattle’s music and cultural life.
